How we vet recipient partners
We take the integrity of our partner programs seriously. Cleveland Car Connect prioritizes working with Area Agencies on Aging-contracted providers, ensuring they meet rigorous federal and state accountability standards. Our partners are also members of the Meals on Wheels America network and comply with the Older Americans Act Title III-C nutrition standards. We confirm they have no waiting list or a short waiting list, indicating adequate funding to serve the community effectively.
How proceeds flow
A significant portion of your car donation, approximately 70-80% of the gross proceeds after towing and processing costs, will directly support our meal programs. These funds are then allocated according to program ratios, ensuring that as much as possible goes to feeding seniors in our community. Your contribution directly helps us deliver meals and support services that are crucial for the well-being of our elderly neighbors.
